The Awakening

Aubrey James was a normal student at a University in NY living in A apartment in Harlem working at a diner serving food, and drinks for a living. Until one night she met a stranger who came into town who seemed like a gentlemen. His personality and charms intrigued her so much that she would even let him take her home that night. What a fool she was. The man she had met was no ordinary man, in fact he turned out to be a monster in a human form. He sucked the life out of her pure soul, and turned her for his own guilty pleasures. Now she roams the street of London currently on the run, so she wouldn't get caught by the vampire elders who wants her dead for betrayal. On the run, Aubrey never would have guessed to get another person involved in her fights, a teenager who is just out of high school is on the run with her because of his foolishness, but will the two end up having feelings for each other? What are the consequences for loving a human?
