    Amberly's life has always been surrounded by the supernatural, from her birth to the day her entire family was murdered. Some would say it was strange, for a girl to have experienced death and darkness like Amberly and still run towards it. 
    
    Mystic Falls was supposed to be a fresh start. The Gilbert family was supposed to be a new beginning. But despite that, it's anything but an escape from the supernatural world. Unfortunately, we don't always get what we want.
