In the aftermath of a cataclysmic event that saw dimensional portals unleash chaos upon the world, a new era has dawned where magic and technology coexist. Every human now wields mana, giving rise to a society where magical prowess defines one's place.

Amidst this backdrop, we follow the journey of Ethan, a young black South African orphan with a tragic past. At the tender age of six, Ethan witnessed the horrific death of his family through the malevolent forces that emerged from a portal within his home. This traumatic event awakened powers within him, enveloping his body in a radiant glow of magical energy that would shape his destiny.

100 years later, Ethan is transported to the future where he is found by Elaine the Leader of Black Wind an underground organisation conducting experiments on children. Ethan's exposure to a dense mana surge on the day of the portals' arrival expanded his mana pool to extraordinary levels. All that remains is for him to master his newfound abilities.
