ESCAPE - The hawk and the viper

"There's a ranking here. And you're at the bottom."

A saying that she has heard a million times, Habicht has always wanted to rise above those challenges. But with a busy schedule between school and her home, she finds herself unable to prove herself to those higher above her. She's always compared herself to those that control her world. Wanting what they have, wanting to be one of them. Or even better, control them. Make the world a better place, taking experience from her own life as a lower rank. But in a world where you're given a "rank" by birth.. it's hard.

"Go home. You don't look like you belong here."

Víbora had just moved here to get away from her home. A runaway on the streets and the forest, she's at anybody's mercy. Doesn't help that she knows limited English. With the bustling of people constantly around her, she's mastered how to steal items without drawing unwanted attention to her. It's come in handy. While everything seems to go smoothly, it seems the city finally hired some decent cops. So she's being watched like a hawk by those new cops because of her behavior. If they caught her, she would be sent back since she didn't have a record here. She didn't want that. Not with her life back at home.
