A building forgotten about over time holds a dark history.  When five police officers search the building will they leave satisfied?  A woman police officer is one of five that investigate an abandoned hospital that had burned down one night years back.  She finds something she wasn't supposed to and questions start to nag at her head. Will she ignore her guts telling her something isn't right? Or will she dig a hole she might not be able to escape?  

A/N: i was feeling a bit angsty if ppl like it though I would be happy to continue with it

Going through my pictures, I went to the one that I had just taken, and the phone slowly slipped out of my grasp. What had escaped my notice before is that the couch I had taken the picture on was against a window, which showed the backyard of the house. But in this picture, it wasn't an empty backyard. No, behind my smiling face was another one, outside the window. It was his face. Covered with a black ski mask, watching me. *** All 19-year-old Layna wanted to do was forget about the guy that broke her heart, and move on with her new boyfriend Brian. But instead, she unwittingly attracted the attention of a stalker. Someone who had been watching her every move for a month, plotting and planning for the perfect moment when he could take her. What Layna never would have expected was that when he finally kidnaps her, she would have to undergo "The Test". The Test that the girls before her had gone through. The one they failed, and payed heavily for. Will she pass The Test or will she die like the others?

Are they going to untangle this murder-mystery amidst deep set superstitions, fears, and prejudices? Or are they getting lost in the maze of the city, between poverty and luxury?

If it is successful, then this will change how people travel forever. You decide to be the first person to use it... However, it went horribly wrong. You pass out and wake up in a large neon city filled with strange humanoid creatures that appear to be animals... As if that wasn't bad enough.. You have to figure out where you are, and how to get back home.. but that won't be easy when people find out a new species just arrived in the city. I don't own any of the art used in the story. "Then don't Jax." Abby's future brother in law assigns his cousin, and head of security Jackson; to be her personal bodyguard. She wants him to be more than that. Her sister Celeste wants her to find the love of her life-as long as it isn't Jackson. And all Jackson wants is Abbigail. He knows his criminal past and time in jail doesn't make him good enough for her but he can't keep his mind off of her. Being around her 24/7 doesn't help. Their relationship blossoms, but someone has been watching them, and is hell bent on ending their little romance. Even if it means kidnapping Abby.
