That very same darkness can also be our guiding light to our soul's salvation. I have to believe that. How else am I supposed to get my soul back from The Devil of Marrowbone Woods?

Shayna Delfine Scarth traverses through life with the normalities it has to offer. Love, loss, challenges and surprises lurk around every corner. Growing up near Marrowbone Woods meant she had heard all the tales from the locals about how the Devil himself resided deep inside. Her father would always tell her steer clear of the woods if she was alone but, as they say, curiosity is a shame to waste. Is there any truth to the stories the towns people told? Or were they tales to keep the children from running off into the woods alone?
