There are only two kinds of people that live in Montana. Cowboys and dreamers. Gertrude Louise Hicks really hated being a small town girl always being reminded of things she'd rather forget.

In a town full of cowboys all Gertrude really wants to do is get out of town. Be something that gives her purpose and meaning but dreamers are fools and fools only get broken dreams.

Being the daughter of a rancher has never been easy especially in a town that knows all and tells all.

When her past comes back to find out what he left behind matters only escalate and then finding out that her father is dying only adds to the anguish.

Will Gerdies dreams ever become reality or really is she just a fool.

I heard the smile in his voice, and I turned, wanting to see it. I'd missed it so much. For a brief moment, the way he looked at me, I could see he still had feelings for me.
