Adeira's father feared her intelligence. Wanting to keep her under his control, he enlisted her into Hydra's new project to replace the deteriorating Winter Soldier: Project Snow. Her intelligence made her stand out, instantly chosen to fill her new role as the Winter Soldier.

As Adeira undergoes intense training disguised as torture, she develops a plan to escape. When she is successful, Hydra is left no choice but to bring out the Winter Soldier once more to track her down and return her... dead or alive. Only, he wasn't expecting Adeira to be a soldier like him. He wrestles with what to do, as his fragmented mind continues to break, allowing his normal self, James Bucky Barnes, to peek through.

Will he return Adeira to Hydra as the ultimate sacrifice to break him from this spell? Or will his humanity save the both of them?
