Now, I have to drag her to the Bad Below, or face going there myself for eternity, and give up a chance at another life. Oh, and my rival - the arrogant, caramel-toned boss's son, Jackson-Kumari (who's been promoted to a higher rank, so is now my boss) - holds the cards to my fate. 

And another thing - I know what happened. The secrets are in my diary - the letters I never posted. But I can not interfere, or else risk losing everything. I've got one last chance to make it out of here, for better or worse.

But when Paula escapes and falls into the Doorway to the Agency, I'm about to land myself in a much, much, deeper situation. I'm a fugitive. Will Kumari prove himself as an ally - and maybe more, to turn against the Agency and his father? Or will old habits never die? And can I risk it all for him, my best friend, and maybe, another chance at life? We're going to have to figure it out before time runs out
