Some roam the world in search of fame, of riches, of discovery, of taste, or even of despair in need of fixing. Alejandro Heimer is a boy who searches for victory and nothing else. After a recent failure regarding his transfer into a school for those proficient in Battle Royale, Alejandro has to accept 2nd place and instead attend a school for an entirely different gamemode: Zero Build.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a girl with a strange name and a strange lust for life, truly a person who sees the world through rose tinted glasses. Literally. No one has tasted defeat like Evangelion; 5 exes haunt her heart relentlessly, and a 6th failure is sure to leave her bedridden. Literally.

In a world where Fortnite is the world's sensation, the best players of the youth enroll in special schools aligned with Fortnite training. Battle Royale is the previous king of the Fortnite monarchy, but Zero Build is a fresh wave of new play styles that have spawned specialized, vocational schools just for the game mode. One of these schools is Forte!, the most prestigious Zero Build school in the country of Japan.

Alejandro Heimer is new not only to the jungle that is high school life and drama, but the warzone that is Zero Build and its players. Neon Genesis Evangelion is returning to the no man's land as a senior, and she is desperate for something new and lasting.
