Zephyr "Z" Newton and Marion Mills were enemies in college. Competing for top marks in all their shared classes they would constantly bicker and argue. That was 5 years ago. Now they work at the same state park. Z is a wildlife biologist monitoring the health and habits of the native wildlife populations. Marion is a badass forest ranger, monitoring the practices of visiting people and leading emergency rescues. When the duo is sent out on a call to recover an injured hiker, the discover many truths about themselves. Z wants what he can't have, and Marion has no idea what she wants.
