Don't let the number of chapters scare you, they are only about 1000 words each. This is my first story so comments will be much appreciated. Love you all :) Also, if you ever have trouble with the weird names I gave my characters, there is a video of me saying their names in chapter 26. My accent is weird on it, blame that on the fact that I'm French-Canadian :P

I closed my eyes ready for my death when I heard a very loud and dangerous growl, I swear I felt the ground under me shook by it. I opened my eyes quickly to see what it is, but I couldn't believe my eyes, I just couldn't. even in this state, me crying mess, in pain, this was just like a dream. H-how is that possible? Mort, is the Alpha for the Red Crimson pack and I am his Beta, Taragon. He has recently found a mate and because of an accident that happened years ago after I found mine that caused her death, my punishment was that I would never have another mate.
