The Vizier

Fifty-one year old Silas Schoffner is drawing to an end. After living a life of what felt like infinite money and owning most of the Las Vegas strip, he's just counting the days. His recent visit to the doctor revealed lung cancer from a less recent attempted arsenic poisoning, and it looks bleak. Within a few weeks, the tumor has grown to a dangerous level, and the cancer treatment hasn't helped any. Silas isn't worried about death though. A secret power that he has possessed since his days in his parents' skyscraper in New York City, a sort of cognitive foresight of bad things to come. He can't decipher what his foresight has recently brought him, but it doesn't look like he's going to die anytime soon. His suspicions are confirmed when he gets a gory vision that changes him.
