Isadora has lived in her small village all of her life making it through each harsh Winter. The humans live in fear of the cruel sovereign Fae and Isadora has seen first hand what atrocities they are capable of. When she ends up being picked as a sacrifice for the king of the Fae in their annual reaping, Isadora knows she must fight for her life in a court where no one can be trusted. As she falls deeper and deeper into the web of secrets at the Fae court she learns that not everything is as it seems, and that even the most icy of hearts has a chance of springing back to life.
