Charlie saw Annie and knew he in love but Annie had spent her whole life believing love was never in the cards for her. This was a just for fun backstory for Annie and Charlie from my Marvel fic. I tried to convey that Charlie really was THE love of Annie's life in my fic but I think this gave a fun little look into why. And also more Alex is always better. This is better read after the monstrous fic that is How Do You Heal for some context and a slight spoiler (that really doesn't ruin anything it was just a fun bit) but its not necessary to read the fic first.
