In American there was Mafia groups and most powerful groups especially in New York but then the NFFA came to power and started the Purge so the gangs in New York set aside their differences and form a alliance to protect themselves their people and their profits and finding ways to stop the Purge but when democracy fails they have other plans. And when the Purge got out of control the Mafia groups decided to take over the whole state of New York and declare Independence from a now Fallen America this was called Operation Survival. one of the Mafia groups called the Phoenix Family their leader Alan also known as the Great Phoenix they have been in New York State since the 1920s and since Alan became the new Boss he decided to change the ways the Phoenix Family operates they decided to help people during the Purge and protecting from Purgers and even from the NFFA until Alans brother and his wife were murdered by Mercenaries from the NFFA Luckily their son survived and was saved by Alan and his gang but the his nephew Daniel was not human he was a Skinwalker but he was a good Skinwalker wanting to protect innocent people from bad guys.
