Racing was always something that was destined to become my brother's fate. But it was not his heart that was beating for the sport.

For years, me and my brother, Luca, blindly did what was expected from us.

As an ex-world champion, our father was convinced that my brother would follow in his footsteps. Do him honour and become a racer just like him. A racer known and celebrated by the world.

And I, in their shadow, studying and working an ordinary job as a mechanical engineer. I was hoping my father would realize what my actual dream was based on the degree program I had chosen.

My brother was always way more subtle in showing what it was he yearns to do - though for me, it was clear in the way he exceeded in school debates.

But it only took one race to change it all. To awake the fire within me, and do the unthinkable.
