Out of the Ashes

After losing his mate and unborn child in a deadly attack, Alpha Asher vowed to never love another woman again. Fast-forward to six months later, while attempting to find the one responsible for the attack, Asher finds himself at a popular nightclub, where Vampires and Werewolves meet. Amongst them, is a human waitress, Miranda, who Asher instantly recognizes as his mate. Miranda feels a strong connection towards Asher, but doesn't understand why.
After finishing her first official shift at the club, Miranda wakes up only to find herself in Asher's car. In Asher's eyes, Miranda is the exact opposite of the woman he once loved, and the kind of women he tolerated. She is outspoken, and she's not afraid of him. Asher feels challenged just by Miranda's presence alone, and he seeks to tame her.
Now Miranda must find a way to escape Asher, and his world of strange creatures, where everything she thought she knew and believed is proven to be a lie. And little does Miranda know, her will won't be enough to overpower the desire of her heart, which now seem to beat only for Asher.
