She thought it would just be a joke. Never in the world would they go through with it. Well the impossible just so happened to Alexandria Brown (Alex for short). She is strong on the outside but very timid on the inside. But on the summer of her about to go into 10th grade her friends decided it would be funny if she went out for the schools baseball team. Alex wanted to go with the name of Daniel Rose.
What she never thought of is that she went out for softball for one year, and sucked, plus it was in 3rd grade. Also why did it never come to her mind that she was surrounded with baseball as a little girl. Her brother played baseball and she was taught at a young age how to play. She is actually really good but doesn't like showing it. Anyway she actually made the team!!!!!! She was shocked but even more shocked when the coach asks if she was Nathaniel Browns little sister. Well crap. Worst of all the other top pitcher is cute as heck, along with all the other players! Can she survive the season without failing the team? Or can she survive not becoming close to one of her teammates, a little to close?

An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. Anyone with half a brain could see the difference right off the bat despite their identical features . He could think for himself , proven by his 4.5 GPA , though he never got recognition do to his off putting personality ; his full paid trip to Harvard was teller that he was more than just Alex's shadow . but Alex had started acting off . Off in a bitter sweet way that prompts him to profess his undying love for Nix that is NOT returned . But Alex is used to getting what he wants , so Alex will make sure he gets what he wants . From Bringston, With Love
If you've ever watched the young adult drama, All American Homecoming, this is my spin on the events that occur starting from the last 5ish minutes of Season 1, Episode 8. I still follow the outline of the show, and loosely use some of the verbiage from the show as well, but I explore more of the feelings/emotions involved (romantic, platonic, and familial). Some chapters are Rated Mature. Other than this comment and having the story marked Mature, there won't be a forewarning. I want to maintain the element of surprise. If you're not familiar with the show, here is a brief description: The show follows tennis hopeful, Simone Hicks, and MLB prospect, Damon Sims, and their group of friends/family as they begin their freshman year at the prestigious Bringston University in Atlanta. Simone decides to find her way back to tennis, hoping to go pro one day, while Damon leaves his MLB prospection behind (temporarily) to help save the Bringston baseball team, and to learn more about himself as a young adult. Both go through many challenges, but often lean on each other and their Bringston friends/family along the way. All of the chapters are named after R&B(ish) songs just like the show does irl.Complete

Alexandria Simmons has never been noticed at her high school, Hartwell High. With only having two best friends, she's actually pretty ok with not having anyone bother her for always having a book in her hand, or for keeping to herself. It's actually pretty surprising that no one had the guts to talk trash about her behind her back, or to laugh at how different she is from the rest of the girls in their student body, well maybe that was because of her older brother; by 1 year, Cameron Simmons, who was sort of like the Troy Bolton of their school, and if you ever got on his bad side, well that would definitely suck for you. Alex had an average life, it was as if she was riding one of those slow kiddy rides at an amusement park, that you were forced to go on by your younger siblings or relatives. Her life was simply too boring, plain, simple, so bland. That was until Mr. Jayce Reynolds stepped into the picture. Jayce Reynolds, who was sort of like a younger cockier version of Cameron. Everyone expected him to take over the football team once Cam graduated. Being only a junior, and being one of the best football players in that school was something everyone idolized him for. He was expected to become a football player by his classmates, or to take over some big corporate company by his dad. Speaking of his dad, his family was probably the most dysfunctional yet peculiar group of people that ever stepped on this earth. Aside from that, having the "perfect" girlfriend and being a part of the "popular" crowd had its perks, but Jayce thought otherwise.
