She thought it would just be a joke. Never in the world would they go through with it. Well the impossible just so happened to Alexandria Brown (Alex for short). She is strong on the outside but very timid on the inside. But on the summer of her about to go into 10th grade her friends decided it would be funny if she went out for the schools baseball team. Alex wanted to go with the name of Daniel Rose.

What she never thought of  is that she went out for softball for one year, and sucked, plus it was in 3rd grade. Also why did it never come to her mind that she was surrounded with baseball as a little girl. Her brother played baseball and she was taught at a young age how to play. She is actually really good but doesn't like showing it. Anyway she actually made the team!!!!!! She was shocked but even more shocked when the coach asks if she was Nathaniel Browns little sister. Well crap. Worst of all the other top pitcher is cute as heck, along with all the other players! Can she survive the season without  failing the team? Or can she survive not becoming close to one of her teammates, a little to close?All Rights Reserved

Alexandria Simmons has never been noticed at her high school, Hartwell High. With only having two best friends, she's actually pretty ok with not having anyone bother her for always having a book in her hand, or for keeping to herself. It's actually pretty surprising that no one had the guts to talk trash about her behind her back, or to laugh at how different she is from the rest of the girls in their student body, well maybe that was because of her older brother; by 1 year, Cameron Simmons, who was sort of like the Troy Bolton of their school, and if you ever got on his bad side, well that would definitely suck for you. Alex had an average life, it was as if she was riding one of those slow kiddy rides at an amusement park, that you were forced to go on by your younger siblings or relatives. Her life was simply too boring, plain, simple, so bland. That was until Mr. Jayce Reynolds stepped into the picture. Jayce Reynolds, who was sort of like a younger cockier version of Cameron. Everyone expected him to take over the football team once Cam graduated. Being only a junior, and being one of the best football players in that school was something everyone idolized him for. He was expected to become a football player by his classmates, or to take over some big corporate company by his dad. Speaking of his dad, his family was probably the most dysfunctional yet peculiar group of people that ever stepped on this earth. Aside from that, having the "perfect" girlfriend and being a part of the "popular" crowd had its perks, but Jayce thought otherwise. If you've ever watched the young adult drama, All American Homecoming, this is my spin on the events that occur starting from the last 5ish minutes of Season 1, Episode 8. I still follow the outline of the show, and loosely use some of the verbiage from the show as well, but I explore more of the feelings/emotions involved (romantic, platonic, and familial). Some chapters are Rated Mature. Other than this comment and having the story marked Mature, there won't be a forewarning. I want to maintain the element of surprise. If you're not familiar with the show, here is a brief description: The show follows tennis hopeful, Simone Hicks, and MLB prospect, Damon Sims, and their group of friends/family as they begin their freshman year at the prestigious Bringston University in Atlanta. Simone decides to find her way back to tennis, hoping to go pro one day, while Damon leaves his MLB prospection behind (temporarily) to help save the Bringston baseball team, and to learn more about himself as a young adult. Both go through many challenges, but often lean on each other and their Bringston friends/family along the way. All of the chapters are named after R&B(ish) songs just like the show does irl.

They have different fathers because his mom was cheating, but is now happily married to a new man who will probably leave with her money in about two months. She doesn't seem to mind. Alex and Toni- Sisters who grew up with these oh- so famous boys. They've been close for years and don't really talk to any other girls aside from one another. They're close in age and with each other. I guess you could say they're 'conjoined at the hip'. When these people come together due to an incident resulting in them being stuck in school for twelve hours one night what will happen after? Will they keep in contact? Will Liyah find their arrogance too much? Or will she simply continue on like nothing happened?
