The year is 2019, a time when the mundane rhythms of modern life are suddenly shattered by an event that defies all belief: the gates of Valhalla swing open.

From the halls of the honored dead, warriors of ages past are cast back to Midgard, their memories of Valhalla wiped clean. Among them is Dagfin, a man of ancient skill and courage, who awakens in a world he no longer recognizes.

Stripped of his recollections of the afterlife but haunted by a nagging sense of purpose, Dagfin must navigate the chaos of his return as the once-forgotten legends of Ragnarok begin to stir.

As ancient prophecies and modern realities collide, Dagfin finds himself at the heart of a story centuries in the making-a battle that will determine the fate of gods, men, and the very fabric of existence itself.

Lif and Lifthrasir - Asgardian Tales - Book 1 by BaileyBookandSketch
39 parts Complete
Power has a price. No Half Bloods know this better than the Lifs and Lifthrasirs, possessing the power of Yggdrasil itself, able to manipulate the dimensions of Life and Death throughout all 9 Realms. The price? These Heroes outlive all Mortals, their only choice for happiness is to curse their beloved with a "Blessed Apple" derived from the famed immortal apples Iduna guards, trapping their loved ones in a land where they are never able to leave while the Heroes barely age over the millennia they spend adventuring among the 9 Realms. As if that isn't cruel enough, Odin revealed a terrible Prophecy - Ragnarok, the final battle of all Mortal, Ethereal and Incorporeal beings where the Cycle of Immortality itself will end, killing beings who have never died with a Lif and Lifthrasir playing pivotal roles in those events. The Patrons of Old established the Accords - a treaty setting terms for all future Lifs and Lifthrasirs. Forced to train as Warriors and sacrifice their freedom, they serve under the Guardians, the council of members from all 9 Realms who designate missions so that their powers are shared equally, an agreement that has kept the peace for almost a million years but, as Odin himself revealed, all things come to an end. Nothing spells disaster like the Blazing Spear of Blood, created by Ymir from the root of Yggdrasil connected to Hel, capable of devouring anything with its cursed flames. Stolen by Xerxes the Red King, it has been stored in Ubhal Òir under the Lifs for millions of years, much to the chagrin of the Jotuns who now act as if it never existed. But it isn't forgotten. Someone is desperate to steal it and Comharrachadh Beatha is the perfect opportunity as most of the Guardians are on vacation enjoying the Tournament of Heroes where the Realms best Warriors come together on peaceful terms to battle each other. Treachery runs thick behind the celebrations as evil looks for an opportunity to rule again.

77 parts Complete Mature
In this epic reimagining of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Eivor Varinsdottir, the fierce Raven Clan shieldmaiden, finds herself entangled in a forbidden romance with Randvi, the wife of her sworn brother, Sigurd Styrbjornsson. What begins as a hidden passion ignites into a love so powerful that it threatens to reshape the future of Ravensthorpe and all of England. Bound by desire, duty, and destiny, Eivor and Randvi defy tradition and claim each other-not as lovers in the shadows, but as wives in the eyes of the gods and their people. Their union, however, sparks a rift that tears through the Viking world, drawing them into a brutal conflict with Sigurd and the hidden hands of the Order of the Ancients, who seek to manipulate their war for their own gain. Amidst savage battles, political intrigue, and the looming specter of war, the two women must navigate the treacherous landscape of alliances and betrayals. As they lead Ravensthorpe into its most perilous era, they uncover a conspiracy stretching across the Saxon lands-one that threatens not just their home, but the very future of England itself. But even as blades clash and oaths are broken, Eivor and Randvi's love remains unshaken, burning like a beacon in the darkness. Together, they forge a new path-one not dictated by fate, but by their own hands. A story of war and devotion, vengeance and redemption, Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Blood and Oaths is a saga where love is both a weapon and a shield, and where two Viking women defy gods and kings to carve out their own legend.
