I stood around watching and waiting for who it is that would get me. Here... here is hell. Its known as the auction. Where women are bidded off to the highest payer. My father had me put into the running and I stood blue eyes searching, heart racing waiting for one of these creeps to buy me. I never even considered it would be my saving grace, until tall, dark, and handsome waltzed in. His eyes rounded the room and rested on mine I glanced away first and I felt his eyes linger. To my dismay he walked the opposite way. Later though... he would call me wife.
