Eight years after a girl wandered into the realm of Arcadya,and twisted everything about it to her control, thing have changed drastically since she disappeared. No more Queen of Hearts, or White Rabbit. The Mad King rules now, his trusty Jack at his side at all times. 

The Timekeeper has been replaced. The cities are slipping into chaos. 
Faster than they were before, at least. 

And now, the Cheshire Cat is finally free. And he has an agenda to fix everything. On the search for Alice, absolutely certain she's back, he delves into a darker side of what Alice would call Wonderland.

And he hates to admit it but...

There, he meets the storybook Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Mouse, and the Cheshire Cat. Ironically, they seem to know him, but he doesn't know them. They also have a job for him, one he isn't sure he can do in a world where up is down and animals speaking are more common than people. He is told he must defeat the Queen of Hearts if he is to go home, otherwise he can never leave. Alice wonders if he can really do it.
