The Wandering Hearts Academy is known for their brilliant scholar program for grades 11 and 12, most of their graduates leave and pursue incredible opportunities and careers! the school was built to literally imitate society. This translates to students having the freedom to gamble, cheat and even use fake identification documents with little to no moderation from the adults. Naturally, such mayhem couldn't go on for long. Recognizing themselves as self-governing, the students elected a leader and a council, each member of which had a different role. Each year a new president was elected and, should they turn out incompetent, the school will be doomed to fall into chaos until the next election.
This story will follow Toby. Toby was born in a small town in Texas, his dad pretty conservative and a drunk bastard. His mother had died during his birth, his father blaming him for it. His father drinks bottle after bottle of cheap booze and beers, leaving Toby to get the back end of any anger from him. Tony was often beaten, left to rot and "think about what he did." He grew up hiding his emotion so his father couldn't exploit it or be angry at him because he cried or something. His father eventually went to prison for child abuse, and a few other charges that Toby never heard, he just remembers that the neighbors would often call his dad the f slur and a creep. Toby could only imagine. Toby at that point realized that he was liking boys, but he denied those feelings. He wouldn't be like his father. He moved in with his Aunt and Uncle soon after in Dawn Peak. His aunt and uncle are fairly wealthy, and were able to get him into the Wandering Hearts Academy.
