David Bell is a 14 year old 8th grader who has grown up in a Christian home, and has lived his life with his best friends Derek and Marilynn. Well that is up until 8th grade year when his worst enemy, Carter decides to change how Derek feels about David.
This results in Carter, Derek, and Carter's best friend, Brady bullying David. David sees a lot of changes in his life and starts to question life when he's diagnosed with depression and nobody knows. Not even Marilynn.
David sees this is hard, and realizes life isn't always going to be easy, but that's why you have to trust God. Because there is a reason for everything right?
