With an annoyed grumble he turned on his side, attempting to block out the light with a pillow or Kristin's hair, but nothing changed. In fact, Kristin wasn't even laying next to him. He almost whined and blindly reached around trying to find her. She never got up before him, at least not without waking him up first, either on purpose or accident. The only times she leaves him sleeping is when she gets up early for a trip to meet with her family or friends, and even then Phil still gets up so he can kiss her goodbye. 

Reaching around the bed one more time, he noticed that it felt... off. Almost prickly. And the mattress was rough too. Without really wanting to, he started to blink his eyes open, rubbing the sleep out of them as he yawned. Only to immediately freeze and squint at what was in front of him. Was that... grass?

Slowly lowering his hand, he started looking around, pushing himself up to sit. He was sitting in the middle of a grassy field. A good distance away he could see a river, behind it some trees. When turning around, he noticed another river, boxing him in. "What the fuck..." He stood up and turned in slow circles, still not understanding what the fuck is happening. The river rushed by on all sides, forming a little island in the middle. An island he was standing on.All Rights Reserved

I probably should've just listened to him from the start when he said don't go outside in this weather, but me being pissy with him and wanting to prove a point- I did and now I'm laying on the wet grass with a gash on my temple and an even bigger one on my leg. "We'll get you to Harvey." Shane said. I could hear his voice break at the end. He picked me up and started walking. "Please wake up." I wanted to so badly but I was exhausted from the hike and spending the night in the cold and shivering for hours. Shane's warm hands under my back and legs already felt way better. "This is all my fault. The one good thing to happen in my life...." Shane let out a sob but never stopped walking. I just wanted to hug him and tell him everything was going to be alright. I could feel the blood still tripping down my leg and face, so I knew I couldn't make false promises but Shane needed me. He needs me. I'm his anchor, I'm the girl he leans on when he's feeling like he's losing. I have to do this. I wanted to try my hand at some creative writing, and I thought Minecraft fanfiction would be a good foyer into online writing spaces. I am not an avid reader of Wattpad stories or fanfiction in general, so I have no expectation for the material I am producing to be aligned with the reading interests of anyone on this platform, however: I am excited to be able to anonymously share a niche of mine that I haven't had the chance to develop until now, regardless of its reception. Now back in his normal body, the Piglin was put under strict bed rest to make sure he recovers from the near death experience. While the Piglin recovers, Phil managed all the tasks around the area. Feeding the animals, tending to the small farm, gathering wood and all those tiny things. But one day, he doesn't come home. Techno waited, but the immortal stayed away. So he decided to go look for him in the surrounding forest, scared that he might have gotten ambushed or, the more likely option, got distracted by something again and just forgot to come home. Yet when he did manage to locate him, he didn't quite look... human anymore.
