"I hate this child! How can you say those words to him?!" Mr. Jones yelled. 

"Because I've grown to love him! He's nothing like you!" Mrs. Jones yelled back. 

Mr. Jones throws a chair in his wife's direction. She was quick to move away, so the chair never touched her. 

"He's useless! I will NOT let him ruin our lives. I won't let him ruin everything that I worked hard for!" 

"Just don't harm him. Let him live his own life. The company might give us more money. A bigger check and they might make you second command of the company. Think about it!" 

"If I agree to not kill him. I will take control of his future. But-" 

"No..." 

"You will leave and NEVER return!" 

"NO! I WON'T DO IT!" 

 "I- love him.."

He came up to her and hits her across the face. 

She stood there in silence with her head turned to the side. 

That afternoon.. Ashton was standing at the front door, who just got home from school. 

He stood still, afraid to move. He didn't want his parents to know that he was home.
