The Adventures of June

Meet June, a now twelve-year-old nobody. Living in a worn-down orphanage. Like every other child there, she has no home, family, or place of belonging. She was often found in the orphanage school detention or in her dorm room dreaming with her only friend Julia as they avoid being the target for beatings. Until she and the other students complete an academic assessment that determines their chance of getting into one of the country's top private schools for free. Coincidentally, June is the only one who gets in. At first, she is an unwanted outcast like nothing ever changed. -Apart from the grey boy, and mysterious fainting- She soon meets Carlous an eccentric mechanical boy who introduces her to a new light. As she finds a small friend zone, finds herself in detention again and longs for an answer from Julia until something strange happens. She has had these unusual and disturbing nightmares and visions. Soon nightmares turn to unconsciousness, then the fainting turns to reality as an unreal earth is at June's fingertips to destroy or create. The essence of death tracking her every move. I'd like you to follow along as this weekly addition will be the first draft of my possible first novel.
