Warm Blooded

Elizabeth Maureen is living her good life in a small town of Zebulon which she thought would last forever. She never had friends her age for she thought that her mother was enough and more likely, because they lived in a secluded life in the woods far from the city. One night, while they were eating their dinner, someone knocked loudly at their door. For the first time in her life, Maureen was terrified. She looked at her mother who also seems scared but manage to act tough. Her mother hugged her and whispered "Eros lo major que me ha pasado".

Maureen thought that her life began when her mother gave birth to her but no - her life began when death knocked at their door.
