So yeah, you've all heard the story told by many. About how embracing nuclear power instead of fearing it would lead to having technology advanced quicker, you'd be partially correct about that... The year 2234 was the first and last time humanity was wrong about this statement. After the threat of WW5 many countries were locked into the doctrine of MAD (mutually assured destruction) if war with this power was to happen. But, worry not as many smart people did many smart things like make the Pip-Boy a kind of personal computer strapped to your wrist, there was also the assist bots (creative, I know) who helped the common folk with menial tasks, and stasis chambers or more commonly known as cryogenic pods (cryo pods for short). Well, after some undisclosed country(ies) launched their nukes at both the north and south poles, the world as we knew it was being flooded. People from all over the world had scrambled to try to get to their local vaults that were built by Vault-Tech to try and weather this worldwide catastrophe. Unfortunately, like many stories began the entirely of the human race was not fortunate. Nearly the entirety of the human populace was wiped out. There were was at least a few known places like Alterna and Vault 111. Well, like all the other places, they didn't last long. Alterna went into the dust after a failed attempt at flying a rocket into space to try and find a more suitable planet for humans. And almost every Vault had some sort of problem from a lack of power to improper oxygen filtration to radiation leaks. Well there was one Vault that's in an undisclosed location in a place called Vault 069 and it held the best and brightest people. This is the story of one of its only surviving residence lived with the new life that was created after ~12,000 years of not being seen. This is the story of a man nicknamed The Savior also known as (Y/N) the last remaining human on earth or at least what's left of it.
War for Change
Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. The Devil's Angel
It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. At that exact moment her window smashed and something flew into her room. It was a flock of them; they attracted the house and only took one thing: the girl. She remembers it clearly, the way she screamed scared out of her mind. The way it grabbed her waist and took off. She remembers screaming for help but no one came to her rescue. Oh how she wishes that she left her safety knife in her room. Then they would be safe. Her family! She just hopes they were fine, but the conclusion that she was taken says that her family would be back to normal soon. She sighs and thinks over her life. From a little kid she was always the loner. But her family loved her to death. It all changed when she turned ten. The world was changing. She remembers the exact day at the exact time. Her birthday; she calls it the hell day. Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. With the impossible size of the universe, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that there is life beyond just humans out there. Countless things have lived and died yet one stands above the rest due to the sheer amount of time it has lived. Almost since the beginning of the universe itself has it existed; a biological monster that would destroy and consume anything in its path. Planets, asteroids, entire stars even; whatever got in this things way wouldn't stay in the way for very long. It was a repetitive existence until one day the abomination met its match in the form of an absolutely enormous star. It ended with a draw that sent the abomination rocketing off in a random direction away from the place it had been consuming for so long. It traveled for millions upon millions of years before finally coming to a stop just outside of some odd new planet brimming with life.
