In 1280, a young woman in Købannahavn, gives birth to her son Fenris out of wedlock and dies from her injuries. Priest Rawald Sakarias finds the newborn and vows to raise him. Fenris grows up under the care of the priests, who are members of the Knights Templar. Despite his mischievous nature, Fenris is intelligent and full of energy. At the age of four, Rawald decides to channel Fenris' energy into combat training, starting with the longbow. Fenris' determination and intelligence make him a quick learner, and he soon hits the bullseye, marking the beginning of his journey into the world of archery.
