When her sister Agatha is similarly targeted, Allegra vows not to lose another loved one. She bravely ventures through the perilous Endless Woods, determined to rescue Agatha. Her journey leads her to the School for Good and Evil, where she encounters familiar faces, including Lady Lesso-formerly Leonora-now a powerful figure in the School for Evil.

As Allegra grapples with the secrets of her family's past and the changed Leonora, she must navigate the complexities of their reunion and the nature of the schools. But worse than any of that, can she save Agatha and herself from a fate whispered to her through a dying breath?
