Dabi: A fallen crown prince cast aside by his father and thrown into the Arena. A brutal killing ground where the unwanted are meant to disappear. Its not just a prison, but a place that consumes and forces bonds, twists intentions and punishes survivors. Dabi was expected to join or break, instead he finds Hawks.
Hawks: A unknown creature chained in the depths of the Arena, and the king's best fighter. He was intelligent, dangerous and had razor sharp wings, but more importantly scared. He was feared by most and coveted by others. Hawks should be impossible, yet the bond he had accidently made with a certain man. Dabi he believed the name was. This accidental meeting had forged an uneasy partnership in navigating the violence the world had to offer, and one they couldn't ignore.
It was clear that Hawks is both his greatest advantage and his greatest vulnerability. Surviving means learning to trust in a world designed to strip everything away.
