Beware the forest, especially at dusk. Doey had grown up hearing the warnings and knew better than to tangle with the other folk in the forest, or did she? When the newly orphaned Lark arrives at the village and sneaks away into the forest late in the evening, she follows her into the forest, only to fall into all sorts of trouble and adventure.

Her sister is supposed to slay anything mystical creature especially dragons but she doesn't know her secret or her best friend's. At least not yet or him hers and you know what's funny?
