Follow the story of former superstars and newfound frauds Velvet and Veneer as they face new struggles during and after their imprisonment for their crimes against fame.
Losing it all once you had everything can take its toll on you, but what can you do when it was your fault to begin with? How hard would it be to accept yourself and potentially clear your name? What if someone was willing to forgive you?
A unsuspecting complete stranger long forgotten by Velvet and a previous friend and colleague of Veneer's come back into their lives. Certain feelings start to interfere during the nefarious duo's new journey of forgiveness. The past is dug up in order for them to thrive in the future.
TW: May include adult and upsetting themes such as cursing, addiction, violence, assault, and maybe a little lemon here and there too. All characters involved in such are 18+.

Also, Veneer and Velvet's parents aren't dead like in my other fanfic. Veneer is the more likable twin of the two. He was bullied by a small group of kids though. Was pretty shy as a kid. Now that he's older, he's got some sass, due to his sister. He loves cooking and gardening with his mother. She doesn't want her brother to be alone. She would never let anyone hurt her brother. She was a horrible singer until she started getting classes. She's a spoiled brat but loving to her brother. She absolutely hates her mother. She was always the pretty twin. She was a model ever since she was young. Kid Ritz was more of a loner. He never had any true friends. He had one that did awful things to him when he was younger and vulnerable. He loved playing the Cello. He also loves talking to others, not for very long though usually. He's never really had anyone to help him when he struggled in school. No one to cry on or rely on. He's also always loved reading. He just goes to a whole other world whenever he reads.
