As part of a challenge with the sis where we spend a week writing a short story. Set in an alternate reality fantasy Earth currently in its 19th century industrial phase, the story goes about a young girl by name of Heather who boasts a fascinating heritage. She is plagued by a fiend associated with a pretty little necklace she found with little to no knowledge of what the beast is or why it pursues her.
