Hope Mikaelson and Josie Forbes have an emotional link. An emotional link that allows them to speak telepathically, sense when the other is in danger, hear each others thoughts, feel each others pain, sadness, anger, happiness, etc. As they get older, feelings start to happen, things start to change and suddenly their link starts to break. To make matters worse, Josie starts to get sick. Which is not a good sign at all.

Hope desperately tries to keep whatever they have left of their emotional connection from breaking fully, while Josie starts to pull away, causing their link to weaken more and Josie starts looking sicker.

Nobody knows what the fuck to do.
