At Glandus High, you need to be physically strong to survive. It doesn't matter how smart you are, if you aren't physically capable you will be seen as a easy target. Unfortunately for Matt, he wasn't the biggest or the strongest, so he was getting picked on constantly.
One random day, Matt's older brother, Steve, comes home from college to see Matt sitting on the couch crying, trying to bandage up his leg that had been torn open by Bria, his primary bully. Steve ultimately decided to move Matt to Hexside, in hope that his quality of life will improve.

Luz Noceda was a troublemaker for sure. The Hispanic girl always got into fights with people over stupid things. It didn't help that she was failing all her classes except Physical Education. The girl was on her way to the principal's office to find out her punishment for getting involved in another fight when something crazy happened. Luz was going to be sent to another school! Not only was this school a boarding school, but it was also Hexside the most famous school in Connecticut. Luz tries to convince her mom to opt out of it, but her mom agrees with the principal's decision. Luz is forced to pack and leave two days before the second semester and live with her Mom's friend, Eda. On the way, she meets a few people and a minty-haired devil standing before her eyes. She finds herself intrigued by the girl and tries to get closer to her. Will Luz find friends and adjust to her new life at Hexside? Will she get close to the minty-haired girl? Or will she drown in her self-pity? Find out. WARNING.
