Working in the medical field since Leora was twelve, gave her many challenges that usually seemed easy to fix. Broken leg? Done, stab wound? Also done Cuts and bruises galore? She could do it with her eyes closed. But people? Challenging at times and Piper being her first girlfriend was something she wasn't expecting. How do you do this girlfriend stuff anyway?

Piper's whole life seemed to be filled with uncertainty but her friends at this new place and a special little someone, she was certain they would stay by her side. At least for now and if there was one word to describe Leora it was stubborn. She may be extremely loyal but stubborn. That was a thing she found charming but annoying about her. She tried to build up walls but Leora has a very different definition of friends and later, something more.
It took Leora a while to charm her but she found a way to work in Piper's heart whether she liked it or not.
