Kacey is a quiet, hurt girl, who is also gay. Students at school are cruel and they don't spare her the ugly names and mental as well as physical abuse, which she inflicts upon herself when she cannot stand the pain. But thank god, she's got Elliott, her protector, her only hope to live, her best friend. She only sees him as that, when he has fallen head over heels for her in the 5 year period that they've been best friends. Even though he has saved her from the darkest depths and moments in her life, and has protected her from bullies, she feels nothing more for him, than great appreciation, gratitude, gratefulness and of course friend-like love. She is not physically attracted to him and never has been. But what happens when things take a turn for the worse? Kacey ends up in a dangerous situation she might not be able to get out of. Love isn't just attraction, physical chemistry, or some talk on the same wave length that makes you think you are destined for each other. It is a bond, you share and grow with. Follow Kacey and Elliot on their journey full of ups and downs.
