In the bustling halls of their school, a boy named Joshua Zepaña and girl named Zouie Vaques are repeatedly paired as teammates for various events and games at their school, where hand-holding is required. Joshua notices Zouie's soft hand and grows accustomed to holding it, even though they're strangers. He even persuades his friend to pair them up whenever possible, just to feel her touch again.
Over time, the girl notices their frequent pairing and the intimacy of their hand-holding moments. They find themselves unconsciously holding hands even after the games are over, leading others to assume they're a couple. But amidst the assumptions, a budding romance quietly takes root between them, nurtured by the simple yet intimate act of holding hands.
