Years ago in an abandoned kingdom, a powerful being arose out of nowhere and painted the skies above in darkness

With this powerful being came shadows, creatures born from darkness, they were harmless beings, barely doing anything unless ordered to, or if a stranger moved too close to the border

As for the ruler of this kingdom, they were simply known as the ruler of darkness; they were feared by all, and born with the power to manipulate shadows and create darkness

This ruler's name was Fumikage Tokoyami and the history of his rise to power had become forgotten and lost, only one person holds this information, the ruler of darkness's human lover. . .

The human's name was Izuku Midoriya, he was kind and gentle, treating everyone with kindness despite the actions of others, this made many of the villagers, as well as family members, take advantage over him several times

When the ruler and Izuku met is unknown, but what was known was they loved each other very much, Izuku was the only one the ruler of darkness could trust

The ruler only visited at night, as any bright light was dangerous to the ruler, therefore, Izuku could never see Tokoyami's form, something Izuku truly wished to see, but during the day, the ruler remained in his kingdom

No one knows when or how it transpired, but one day after being shamed for defending the ruler of darkness, it was quickly discovered that Izuku was the lover of the ruler of darkness

The consequences of Izuku's loyalty to the ruler of darkness were severe, as he was faced with harm and danger from his own village, despite this, Izuku remained unwavering in his devotion to the ruler. . .
