Vivus Redis, a seventeen year old boy from district 13, is being reaped. Will he survive and see his best friend and family again? Or will he die a horrible death in the arena? And what's up with all these mockingjay symbols? "Why?!", yells Res as she enters the room. "I told you to not do that! I told you that over and over again!" Tears start rolling down her face again, washing away dust and dirt. I don't know what to say, it's like I don't have a voice anymore, so I just stand up and go to her. Six boy and six girls will be selected from the Capitol and do the Hunger Games in the 74th Hunger Games arena. The only big difference: no one dies. Each child, from 12-18 years old, will play until injured, not killed. Aria Bix, a young, 14-year-old daughter of an ex-Gamemaker, is chosen. Previous victors hold her fate as the Gamemakers. 5 days of training is all she gets for her life-changing event.
