you want to know, 
what made me take that tough turn,
that pulled me off the straight road
into such a violent crash

what made me get off the high road 
and brought me down so low 
into such a rush of self destruction

what brought me into a whirlpool 
spitting me out and drowning me again
in such a violent way

what made my eyes turn black,
filled with hate,pain and disgust 
replacing what was bright, happy and filled with lust.
not lust in the sexual term, no.

but lust after life.
