Lily is a misunderstood sixteen year old. After her mother's suicide, her stepfather begins abusing her. Although she sees no way out, Lilly dreams of escaping from her father's clutches and living freely. Just as Lily begins to give up hope that her life is going to get better, she meets Adrian, a popular football player at her school. Although Adrian seems quite different from Lily, they are alike in more ways than they know. While they come from two totally different worlds, they begin to fall for each other. They come to realize that they are exactly what the other needs. Lily finally sees a light at the end of the tunnel in Adrian, but her father may tear them apart forever.
