But, surprisingly, his very own rival conveniently gets a scholarship to the same school in America that he is planning on going. How will their social and volleyball related lives prevail in this new scenery?

She's an aspiring writer who was the old head of the newspaper club in her old school. She's an amazing photographer and an even better writer who has everyone hooked with her catchy headlines and intricate articles. Kirika, who has now transferred to Karasuno, wants a big break. She wants to write a book to inspire young kids who want to follow their dreams. On her first day of school, she hears about the school's volleyball club, a club which has lost its popularity. One week later, Kirika goes to the volleyball club, to see if they'd let her follow them on their journey back to fame.
