26 year old Talia (Lia) Becker has had a rough childhood with her mental health, and parents. After her life literally goes up into flames, she stays in Austin and works at the 126 as a paramedic for a few years before moving to Los Angeles. There, she finds a job at the 118, and finds out what having a real family is like.

A/N - Hi! This is my first fan fic, so if it doesn't make any sense I'm sorry. I may create calls that were never in the show to make it more interesting for you all. I'll see how it goes while writing, but I hope you enjoy! (Also the chapters do get longer after the first season. So if they seem short just keep reading please!)
