Espresso is tired of sitting at the same table every day of the damn school week. It's about time he relocated at once.
I DO NOT own any characters used in this fanfic, they all belong to Devsisters' ownership. WARNING: Out of character moments are not intentional, I tried to get their personalities as accurately as possible.
This all takes place in a Highschool AU, if it wasn't obvious already.

An AU where Espresso was raised with the Cookies Of Darkness. Since he was merely a child, Espresso's one and only desire was to prove his worth to Dark Enchantress, his mother. He and his siblings were taught to despise the Vanilla Kingdom and its inhabitants, sparking an endless war between the light and the dark. Madeleine is a paladin of the Divines, the Vanilla Kingdom's knight commander and savior, and almost immediately he is intrigued by the coffee mage on the opposing side. He is convinced that good exists in Espresso's heart, along with the hopes that he'll join them. A violent circumstance leads to Espresso being captured and held within the castle walls of the Vanilla Kingdom with no magic and nobody to help him. But of course, this was all but a great opportunity for Madeleine to persuade the stubborn mage into leaving the Cookies of Darkness behind. Against his liking, Espresso had no other choice but to play along for now. All he had to do was keep up the charade and not get attached.
