~Story modeled on an actual DnD campaign I am running~

Sonic pulled out a few more gold coins and passed them to the keeper. "I'd like to rent a room tonight. Is there one available?"

The wolf gave him another kind smile, accepting his payment. "As a matter of fact, yes. There's one left. I held it open just in case you were to join that party of warriors."

"Aww, thanks." Sonic smiled gently. "I appreciate it."

When a need for gold led Sonic to a city's tavern, he finds himself getting bounty work and joining a party of skilled warriors. Together with his new friends, Sonic finds himself in deeper danger than he had ever imagined before. Battling through dungeons, and taking on the toughest foes to do so, lands him and his party on the most daring mission of all. Slaying the dragon that terrorizes the kingdom.

But what would happen if slaying the dragon wasn't all Sonic had to worry about? What if he had to fight his own heart and feelings for another member of his group, too? After all, is it truly wrong to pick up hedgehogs in a dungeon?
