Jungkook's heart sank at Taehyung's callous response. He couldn't believe that Taehyung could be so heartless, so indifferent to Ji Ah's suffering.
Desperation clawed at him as he searched for the right words to make Taehyung understand. "Please," he implored, his voice cracking with emotion. "I'll do anything you want, just let Ji Ah go. She's innocent in all of this."
But Taehyung remained unmoved, his resolve unshaken. "Sign the papers, Jungkook," he demanded, his tone final. "Or she stays with me."
