Two months into the seven-month mission, the team is struggling with discontent, damaged equipment, and blizzards acting less and less like normal weather. Allyson has a single mom. That is until she announces she's getting married. Everything happens so fast that she never meets the guy until the wedding held in their backyard. This is when she meets the guy she'll be calling her step dad. After the stressful night of meeting all these new people, Allyson finds herself on the rooftop, slightly drunk. With a bottle in hand, a guy her age joins her. They share the bottle and one thing leads to another. After their kiss that night, they head separate ways. The next morning, the guy is still there. Their parents formally introduce them as their children. They both find themselves in unmarked territory. As much as Allyson wishes she didn't like him, she can't control her feelings. She tries to keep her distance but he doesn't make it easy. Due to her past, she's afraid to get close to anyone. Another man's grief of losing his dying wife is tempered by a ghostly haunting. The first manned mission to Mars reveals a personal past for one colonist. An Indian Brave concludes a ritual as a rite of passage to adulthood. The end of the world brings a woman and her ailing father together for the last time. A man has an opportunity to right one wrong from his past and realizes the true meaning of regret. Another man's senses are replaced one by one with something alien. A golfer in the aftermath of the apocalypse sets out on a quest to keep the game he loves alive. A conversation between two sides of one man's psyche reveals something in us all. A snowbound woman holds the fate of the world literally in her hands.
